One of my favorite hobbies I’ve picked up lately is making bracelets!

Here is how I have been making my bracelets and a link for all the supplies I use! I truly love them and look forward to making them for friends and family. I also can’t stop ordering new fun beads and I am currently waiting for these and these to arrive!

I based my design inspo off of these fun colorful bracelets by Roxanne Assoulin

How to Bake Perler Beads:

  • preheat oven to 400°

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread beads onto baking sheet standing them up upright  (first photo)

  • Bake for 2-4 minutes, but keep an eye on them or else they will spread flat and the hole will be too small to thread string through!

  • Let them cool (second photo)

  • bead your lil heart out

How to make bracelets:

  • Tie double knot on one end of the elastic thread

  • Bead, bead, bead

  • I find using regular tweezers or these make it MUCH easier to get the beads onto the thread

  • Tie ends in a single knot

  • Place single drop of superglue onto the knot after it dries, trim the ends.

  • Place a crimp cover over the knot and using pliers like these squeeze the crimp cover closed.
