W.R.L.D. #11 love is blind, my everyday makeup routine, and the blogs I still read everyday

Welcome to my W.R.L.D. (5).png

Love is Blind, a Netflix original series, is everything The Bachelor isn’t (in a good way) and unless you live under a rock everyone has been talking about it. It is cringy, entertaining, bizarre, questionable, and somehow in three weeks you become irrationally invested in these strangers. High quality reality tv everyone needs. Also, a little remember that a new Youtube video goes up on my channel every Monday! Check out last week's video below and make sure you S U B S C R I B E. Please!

A habit that everyone else seems to have dropped, remains a blissful part of my routine. I still via desktop check in on my favorite OG blog and sites everyday. For as long as I can remember, I have LOVED blogs like before being a blogger meant just posting pictures of your outfit on Insta. No offense to people that do that, I just have always admired content that you can get lost in, informs, entertains, feels authentic and is aesthetically pleasing spread across a computer screen. So today, I wanted to share a few of my favorite blogs I read every week that have undoubtedly influenced and inspired me to create a la mere.

Cupcakes & Cashmere / Emily Schuman

The Skinny Confidential / Lauryn Evarts Bosstick

Damsel in Dior / Jacey Duprie

Sivan Ayla

Brunch on Chestnut / Ashley Kane

Also, hi, hello, thank YOU for being here and reading this. : )

I’ve been having a particularly hard time falling asleep this week and something that always helps me is listening to a guided sleep mediation. Two apps I love and turn on one or the other every single night are Headspace and Digipill.

Is there anything better than how fresh and organized you feel after a closet clean out? Guess what? There is! Let me tell you, making MONEY from your closet clean out is so much better. Touched on this earlier this week, but I have become obsessed with selling my clothes on Poshmark. It is so satisfying, financially rewarding, and makes me so happy that my once loved items are now being loved by someone else!

There are 3 mirrors in my apartment that were hung by previous tenants and while I greatly appreciate the two in the bathroom the one full length mirror on the inside of my closet door was not ideal. For one, it meant I had to have my door open to look in it, second (and I realize this is very picky) the lighting is always terribleeee in that spot. My solution arrived on Wednesday and I can’t believe I waited so long! THIS stunning floor mirror (I got the larger size in maple) that can be freestanding thanks to a metal stand or simply leaned against a wall and it is oversized, yet works perfectly in a studio apartment. Full disclosure, when it arrived (the first time) it was completely shattered, but I messaged the seller and they immediately sent me a new one that arrived 2 days later!

What’s the latest in your WRLD? Any suggestions for me? I would love to hear.

xx
