To everyone that asks a vegetarian, vegan, or plant-based eater, “but where do you get your protein??”, please go watch the Netflix documentary, The Game Changers. A very scientific breakdown showcasing elite athletes, like Arnold Schwarzenegger and how cutting out meat has significantly improved their athletic performance and health.

I know Gua Sha stones are amazing for lymphatic drainage and sculpting the face, but never knew it can help clear a breakout until reading this article from Goop. Time for my Gua Sha to do less time looking cute on my dresser collecting dust and more time sculpting my face!

Two podcasts I loved this week. First The Ladygang with guest Kristin Chenoweth. Kristen Chenoweth was the OG Glinda in Wicked which I had an unhealthy obsession with and begged to see it on Broadway 3 times. The Ladygang always makes me laugh, but I was loling lots during this episode. Next, the third season of Where Should We Begin? With Esther Perel is out and it’s just as enticing as the first two seasons. Looking for a laugh, Ladygang is for you, looking for something more serious, Esther Perel is for you.

One of my sisters was visiting last weekend and I took her to Pearl Spa for a full body scrub and massage. Let me set the scene: you hang out in the baths, saunas, and steam rooms until you are called for your treatment. Then 10 layers of skin is scrubbed and sloshed off every crevice of your body. They finish the treatment giving you an oil massage leaving your skin softer, smoother, and more hydrated than it has been since you were born. It’s a very traditional Korean style spa that is women’s only so you will be naked pretty much the whole time. Fun activity to do with your sister or bestie, but probably wouldn’t go with your MIL or someone from work. You know? Sister loved it so much she requested to go every time she’s here!

A wonderful new Sunday routine that includes a trip to the farmers market lead to the purchase of these. I have been making a very conscious effort to cut down on all single use plastic in my life and have been loving these reusable bags for safely transporting my veggies home and to keep things fresh in the fridge. They come in a pack of 3 for $7.99!

Also, did you see the most recent blog posts? Shared all my favorite pieces under $50 from H&M Home here and all the cold weather cozy hibernation essentials here.

What’s the latest in your WRLD? Any suggestions for me? I would love to hear.

xx
