Decided on occasion rather than watch this is going to be WEAR*.

Earlier this week I shared on Insta stories that I have a first date “uniform” that I wear on almost every first date. The ALM date uniform entails: a simple silk tank (love this one from Everlane, my favorite black jeans, a cool jacket like this faux leather one or this utility one, and depending on the season/vibe these or these sneakers or my favorite heeled booties. Simple, classic, and can easily be dressed up or down depending on the shoe choice and accessories.

Anyone else have a date uniform?

Unlike every other trend that seems to have re-appeared from the 90s / early 2000s thin brows are still out. PRAISE BE. Enter soap brows. I never knew about this technique until reading this article and plan on trying as soon as I get my hands on some clear soap and a brow spoolie.

Also, this is what I imagine my apartment would look like if I had a much larger decor budget and just a fewwww more square feet.

I enlisted my dear friend and music guru Katie (@kookmid) whose music taste is far superior than mine to curate a monthly playlist for a la Mere! Link to the Spotify playlist is here or you can listen below.

Thanks Katie!! : )

Lately I have been getting my butt kicked at Basecamp Fitness which is a fast paced (35 min + 10 min optional abs) strength training workout. Every single class is different and incorporates a variety of equipment including: weights, TRX, Kettle Bells, Bosu balls and Assault Bikes. They have studios in SF, LA and Minnesota (?), and if you are interested they offer a ton of promo deals for referrals and new members.

When I’m not in the mood for Basecamp and want to do something quick at home, I have been loving The Sculpt Society created by one of my favorite “celebrity” trainers Megan Roup. I had the pleasure of working out with her in SF in September and she just launched her online studio/ app this month! There is a one week free trial and then it is roughly $19 a month (which is much cheaper than how you probably pay per class at a boutique studio).

I’ve heard about these faux leather leggings from Commando for years, but had never tried them on until this week and o myyy they are so good. Super flattering and “nice” enough they could definitely pass for pants. I plan to wear then on Thanksgiving and with big sweaters all winter long.

They are available on Shopbop, Revolve, and Nordstrom.

What’s the latest in your WRLD? Any suggestions for me? I would love to hear.

xx
