Amazon prime members, this one is for you! I’ve racked up quite the collection of beauty products and gadgets and one of my favorite places to find the latest and greatest? AMAZON! Here are some of best a la Mere Amazon Beauty finds.
There are some beauty products I become truly loyal to (currently #1 on that list is Lash Slick), but for the most part I love trying new products and switching up my routine. Here’s a look of what I brought for a few days in NYC.
I’m sure we are all now aware of the infamous “Upper East Side Coat”, which TBH I think is kind of ugly. (Sorry!) However, I have found more than a few things I LOVE on Amazon from trendy pieces I might only wear a few times to things I use around the house everyday. Check out my roundup below of the latest & greatest Amazon finds.
Kicking off a new series titled, “what’s in my bag” where I will be sharing what I’m packing up for all my adventures whether it be a day trip to beach, or a 10 day vacation to Tulum. First up, a Ski trip in Tahoe! I am headed up there on Friday for the long weekend are here are some of the essentials I’ll be bringing along.
Living in SF wearing heels everyday is out of the question (hello never-ending hills) and mine have started to collect dust in the back of the closest. However, my sneaker collection is now quite extensive. Here are some of my favorite sneakers at every price point and perfect for spring.
I love granola, but avoid most store bought variations because of how much sugar and other funky stuff they sneak in there. I feel similarly about nut milks and can't stand when you turn over a label and there are 10+ ingredients like these common additives: sunflower lecithin, locust bean gum, gellan gum, ascorbic acid. WTF is that stuff?! I have come to truly love the ritual of making my own almond milk and adapted a simple recipe I found to make delicious clean granola from the almond milk pulp.
You know those people that can fall asleep anywhere and are classified as “good sleepers”? Well, I am certainly not one of those people. In fact, in the past few years I have experienced insomnia, sleep anxiety, and far too many restless nights. Thankfully, I can say I have found a few tips and tricks that have greatly improved the quality of my sleep and I no longer walk around feeling like a nocturnal creature.
The easiest healthy breakfast to whip up with only a few ingredients. I am not much of a breakfast person, but on the mornings when I am looking for something easy to make I go for a smoothie or a chia pudding bowl loaded with some of my favorite toppings.
If you know me, you know I never say no to a spicy marg. I had one of the best tequila cocktails in Moab from the Epic Bar at Sorrel River Ranch and was determined to recreate the simple & delicious concoction in time for Cinco de mayo!
Revisiting one of my favorite pastimes, my blog I shared with my bestie from college (hi kels!) one of our first posts we ever published were our New Year resolutions in 2014. 5 years later I’m back at, broadcasting my resolutions and committing to writing and creating for a la mere.
